  • The purpose of the HyperStake Forum, as I see it.

We have lots of communities for cryptocurrencies. Discord, Slack, Reddit, etc. But the problems I have seen with using Discord or Slack, is that the information is not very well organized and it is not searchable by Google.

I see the purpose of the HyperStake forum to be a continuation for the now barely used bitcointalk. This forum can be indexed and searched by Google. It is publicly available. And it allows all interested people to post, read, and participate with the community. Also, lurkers can lurk without registration!

    What are your thoughts?

I think the forum will be a very valuable tool. In the past, HyperStake was primarily forum based, utilizing bitcointalk.org. Switching to our own forum will provide clear benefits.

Going with vbulletin was a good choice, bitcointalk has really weak security so any account there is considered disposable.

I also appreciated that they have a "managed" forum option, which allows for hosting it on their servers and don't have to worry about setup/updates etc. Just pay a fee and have the experts handle it
